Before coming into the studio to record, a few things should be considered. 1. A great song is key to a great recording. Pick only the best songs you have to be recorded. 2. Make sure the songs to be recorded are well rehearsed. Know your parts! 3. Know what you want! Does your band just want to be recorded or do you need help with producing and arranging your songs? We can discuss these options. 4. All guitar strings should be replaced and the intonation should be checked on all guitars prior to session. 5. Most Modern music these days have sampled drum sounds. I have Drumagog 4.0 (drum replacer) with a nice collection drum samples to get that drum sound your after, Including the steven slate sample library. Your Drum kit, Drum heads should be replaced prior to session. If you do not know how to tune your kit, I’ll help you tune the kit when you arrive. If your kit is in really poor condition I have a kit here to use. 6. If you plan to use a click track, please provide me with a list of tempos for each song. 7. If you want to put samples in your songs - make sure the samples sound great. The best format to have them on is wave files via CD. | Return Home | Links | Rates | Gear | Artists | Helpfull Tips | Contact | Song Samples | |
